Today, we would like to talk about RF Switch and its function in WiFi system. The most common RF path switching includes SPDT, SP3T and DPDT. Here briefing the function for each item:
–         SPDT (Single-Pole Double-Through) is used for2GHz or 5GHz band for TX/RX signal path switching to antenna.
–         SP3T (Single-Pole Triple-Through) is used for 2GHz band for TX/RX/BT signal path switching to antenna
–         DPDP (Double-Pole Double-Through) is used for antenna diversity application.
